I am very proactive with protecting the eyes of my children in the sun. Living in Georgia, I have seen many hot days and the sun rays can be harmful to kids. I have purchased sunglasses before for my children but these give better UV protection. We use sunscreen religiously, I try to get my daughter to wear a hat (sometimes she will, sometimes she wont), I try to keep her in the shade as much as possible, and I try to only go outside during non-peak hours of the day.
