Dabei war und ist die klassische Submariner im Design eher unspektakulär.
Hinzu gesellt sich eine griffige Drehlünette mit deutlichen Markierungen im
Abstand von fünf Minuten. Den Nullpunkt symbolisierte eine in die Mitte
gerichtete Pfeilspitze mit mittig positioniertem Leuchtpunkt.
Die erste Viertelstunde weist weitere Indexe im Minutenabstand auf.
Dieses Gestaltungsmerkmal dient als Orientierungshilfe bei widrigen Sichtverhältnissen.
