sind verhältnismäßig weich und pieken kaum. Die Nadeln sind 1 bis 3
Centimeter lang und 2 bis 3 Millimeter breit. Auf der Oberseite sind sie dunkelgrün und leicht glänzend.
Den Glanz verdanken sie einer dünnen Wachsschicht, die sie
vor einer zu starken Sonneneinstrahlung schützt.
