It is sometimes difficult to make ends meet and I will share with you 10 of our top 10 Savings Tips within the household.
1- Write out a list of all of your grocery items (can type it on your computer) take this list with you to the grocery store(these times you do not need).
2- Purchase a food diary from a dollar store (write down meals you will cook within the next week or month). It will make it easier for you to plan your shopping.
3- Grocery shop at night (new product goes on the shelves and reduced or clearance items are usually marked).
4- Buy in Bulk ( the more you buy the cheaper it will be, per item). This is especially great for meat.
5- Reuse and Recycle (Ice cream tubs can be used as a mixing bowl, etc.)
6- Get a Slow Cooker/Crock Pot (Cheap to prepare a meal). Great ones at the Dollar General for less than $20. Can reduce your energy bill.
7. Change the way you eat. Cut down on meat and eat more fresh vegetables.
8. Start saving your pennies. Get everyone in your household to take all of their coins and place in a jar at the end of the day. Add it up at the end of week and use this money how you choose.
9. Change your Light Bulbs (go to an energy saver bulb) It will save on your energy bill.

Hi Jennifer,
I definitely understand what you are saying. I love mine also. You can put on your dinner early in the morning and it will do all the cooking for you and plus you save on your gas. I call it a double savings. 🙂 Thanks for the comment and stopping in.
