I have traveled about 20 miles to coupon at a store that used to do double coupons. Always saved us so much. They closed now…sure miss that store!
Haven’t traveled miles and miles away for a great deal, but my area doesnt have a kroger, or harris teeter so on my lunch and on the way home I will go out of my way to catch a good deal by stopping before going home by driving across town .
Probably the greatest distance is about 10 miles, most of my favorite stores are close-by!
My sisters and I travel about 45 miles to an outlet center called Albertville outlet mall that has over 100 stores with good discount prices.

I’ve traveled from Lawrenceville GA to Washington GA to go to Bilo. They had a sale on snuggle fabric softener and organic chicken. I made purchases for five couponers. 74 miles going and 74 coming back for a total of 148 miles. Lol

I traveled @60 miles to do shopping in Commerce, GA from East Point, GA
I drove from Sandy Springs to Camp Creek to get to Target since it was only store that had in stock what I needed. I had lunch while over there since the drive made me hungry!
I once traveled from DC to New York for a deal (non food item). I also used the opportunity To spend time with family.
I travel 40 minutes to another side of town that doesn’t have any couponers pretty routinely to get a deal if my closer stores are out of the product! Do what you gotta do!
I have traveled over 50 miles to multiple Walgreens to use coupons on great deals on Aveeno great products..
I traveled 45 minutes with 7 of my kids for a great deal at target and scored 70% off of clothing and free dog food coupons are great!
I traveled an hour away to Target for some deals when I lived in GA because my nearby stores were wiped out.
While I have not driven out of my way to get a good deal, I did go to school over an hour away twice a week and I would make sure to stop at the Publix near the school when I went because they matched different competitor ads than the one close to my house did!

I have drove 1hr and made sure I had another stop that way. Because all my surrounding stores were out of my favorite dove body wash and my coupon was going to expire lol 🙈
I have traveled about 50 miles.
The longest deal I have traveled to get a shopping deal is 30 minutes away from my home. I don’t believe in traveling very far distances because it becomes not a “deal” anymore. When couponing you have to be realistic and not get too caught up in always trying to catch every deal you see.
