It is that time of the year when we are most thankful for a lot of things. On yesterday in my Periscope near the end of my broadcast, I asked my viewers to tell me what things they were most thankful for this year so far. You should have seen all of the wonderful comments and things that sometimes we forget that we should be most thankful for. If you have a chance be sure to check it out. However, here are my Top 7 things that I am thankful for this 2016!
- My relationship with GOD – because without it, I don’t know exactly where I would be. I love my spiritual connection and those who surround me that are positive and bring positive energy.
- My devoted family – even though my teenage college kids have recently left home and when they come back it seems as though they are on an eating marathon, I love them all. I have 5 children total. Two of them in college, my youngest who is in high school and two daughters who live on their own with their own family. My spouse who is always in my corner and truly supports all of my ideas no matter how bad or challenging they may seem (now that is love).
- My healthy lifestyle – Having good health is important to me. Keeping stress levels low and staying away from negativity is a priority. I exercise often and I focus on eating the foods that are healthy the majority of the time. However, if I want a piece of pizza (you know the rest).
- My nursing career – I have always had a caring spirit and it truly does take a very special and unique person to be a Complex Case Manager. The different health conditions that I manage on a daily basis can be frustrating and challenging to the average person. I have always had that right touch and management skills when it comes to managing my patients and I am thankful for this talent.
- My Super fans of Simple Savings For ATL Moms – Yes, I have a wonderful fan base of both female and males including brands. Their consistency with staying with me through the years has been truly amazing (in my “Oprah” voice). They consistently tell others about How I can help them Save Money and refer clients, brands and organizations to me all the time. #QuponFrugalSquad
- My peace of mind – Thank goodness I have one of those. Having a peace of mind allows me the opportunity to think clearly and focus. Being a Savings Strategist/Frugal blogger for over 19 years now has been both challenging but rewarding all at the same time. I can’t deliver or share any deals or frugal tips with my audience if my mind is filled with confusion. Having a peace of mind is one thing that I am truly grateful for.
- My blogger relationships – I have met and connected with some well established bloggers but also those who are newly starting. The relationships that I have gained this year has been rewarding. There is nothing like a good blogger friendship.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone,
What are you thankful for?
