One year after I gave birth to my second son we didn't have any money to buy a gift for my dad so instead I wrote a letter to him and talked about times in my life when he really impacted me. He loved it and I know that I would love to receive a letter like that from my daughter any day instead of a gift.

well, youd have to ask my husband, but one year i put together a scrapbook of OU football,(he splits season tickets with his dad) and he loved it! it took me about 6 months to finish it, but he really liked it. now he and my daughter spend time going to the thunder games, so this year we got him a playoff shirt.
We tend to get Phillies tickets so the guys can go have fun at a baseball game.

I made my husband a wooden chest filled with Dad type memory items- pictures, ticket stubs, cards from our son, etc
The best gift i have seen given on a father's day was a shirt that said children leave foot steps on your heart and then there where the footprints of their children/child across the chest of the shirt usually diagonally
Best father's day present to my husband is our kids and family.

Last year, I gave my Husband a scrapbook that documented our lives together since we met. He loved it and I am still adding to it every time we get new pictures. He says it was the best present he ever got.

ive been with my husband five years now, and since i havebeen with him, none of his kids call or anything on fathers day so we make it the best can make it, i make sure my kids and i make it best we can with what we have, we put homemade banners up, and we buy little gifts for him and show him that he is the greatest dad, he is the best
I usually get a card with and write a letter. My dad says he appreciates it the most.

My dad still treasures the drawings I would give him when I was young!

Instead of cards I send my dad a little hand written note every year, he always comments that this means more than any card I could get for him.
