i pay all utiities, then half what's left. half to spend and half for emergencies, major expenses (tires, vet bills etc) that way i can spend my spending money how i want
Since I am disabled I know that I can not cover all my bills by myself all of the time I reduce my stress buy knowing that as long as I do my best to only spend money when I really need to and to conserve energy My family and friends have always been there to help me out. Or I win a giveaway because the Lord blesses me when he knows that I really need it. I try not to stress anything that isn't going to kill me. With my health issues money is just a minor difficulty
We have a budget and in that budget we have a very realistic "misc." category … which is always where the unexpected expenses happen. When those expenses happen, it's not as stressful.
Actually couponing helps me to reduce stress about money. Instead of worrying about how much I spent or am spending, I concentrate on how much I am saving!!
The way I try and reduce my stress over money is to only spend $$ when I absolutely have to. With the way the economy is one must reserve their $$ as best as possible.
