My best tip is to not be afraid to put that baby in his/her car seat and take a NICE hot, relaxing well DESERVED bath. After having my second child i realized how much i missed out on making myself feel better early on because I felt like I was wrong to take a bath lol.

Everything you need to be a good parent is inside you and God will wake it up when this baby comes and just trust it. When that cough doesn't sound right or that food smells funny or you just don't like how someone is holding your baby; It is ok to listen to that alarm inside you.

One thing I would tell new moms & dads is enjoy time you have by yourself! & make sure to take as many pictures and videos as you can because I know everybody says this, but time truly does go on super speed after having a baby. Enjoy the moments when baby just wants to be held because those don't last forever! Lol

Take a rotation if you can so you always get some sleep–my husband lets me sleep from 9pm-1am and I pump before I do, so I always get some uninterrupted sleep.
