If I have coupons I know I won't be using, I leave them on a shelf at the supermarket for someone else to find and use. Sometimes my store issues special coupons, like $5 off $50, and if my total is well below the threshold, I give the coupon to someone with a full basket.

Shop with a list and don't defer from it! Most of my purchases that I regret or that were a waste of money were because of buying something that we didn't need.
Ooh, and don't forget e-coupons! So easy, why not do it?
