Some of it would go straight into investments, because the women in my family are practical about money, but some would definitely be set aside for international travels.
ATLanta Saving Moms says
Very good choices and thanks for the comments. 🙂

I would split it between both my mom and grandma. I'd let them decide what to spend it on, and knowing both of them, the first thing they would do is buy a gift for me. That's just how sweet they both are. They always think of others before themselves.

I would split the half between my grandma and mom. For my grandma she needs a new house. Hers is very very old and has a lot of problems. She is blind I would want the house to be in one of those senior communities so she would have help near by, and could make friends. For my mother I would just give her the 250,000 to do with what she wants she manages money very well and she doesn't need a new house or car., with my 500,000 I would get myself a house, and a car, since right now I have neither. With a home I could rescue more animals by fostering them for a humane society or SPCA. I loved doing that before I lost my house. I would probably only spend only about 250,000 so that I would have savings to live off of I know what it is like to do without so I would watch out for people and animals that need my help.
ATLanta Saving Moms says
I can see you have some wonderful plans Stephanie (smiles). Thanks for the comments. 🙂

I would pay of my mom's house and her bills so she didn't have to work full time. She deserves to relax (not that she knows how to) and I would pay off my brother and sister's bills too so they are less stressed out. And for myself, I would just pay off my bills. Just knowing that me and my family didn't have to worry so much would make me so happy!
ATLanta Saving Moms says
Sounds like a great plan. Thanks for the comments Jennifer. 🙂

Wow! I would give at least if not more than half of the money to my Mom to enjoy. Plus,if I had that kind of money I would give a lot of it to charities, family, friends, and the church. Plus I would go back and start my cancer treatments for my bladder cancer cause I have no insurance but can get charity care at the hospital to pay for treatments. But what I cannot afford is the travel expenses and meals there and back. And my Mom is 82 and would like for me to take her to Florida for the winter and if I had that kind of money then I could afford to take her. Thanks for the chance.

Frazzled Mom of Five says
I would give half of it to my mother because she has been supporting my family of 7 for 16months while my husband tries to find a job. I would use the other half to catch up on all my bills and student loans!

I know she would love this. Thanks for the comments. 🙂

Zanita says
If I came into that kind of money I would first and foremost pay for the surgeries that my mom really needs but is unable to get because of no insurance, after that she would be good as new to enjoy the house and car that I would buy her. My mom worked so hard to raise my brother and I by herself it would be so wonderfull to be able to help ease some of her worries. There isn't enough money in the world to repay our mothers but it sure would be nice to try!
ATLanta Saving Moms says
Very touching comment. Thanks Zanita! 🙂
francis485 says
if i won that much money, i would take my mom on a great vacation, she needs one. then i would give her enough money to redo one of her rooms in her house cause she likes to decorate her house, and change it all the time. that would be so cool.

If I had that kind of money I would share it with everyone in my family. I would make sure my grandparents never had to worry about paying for docter bills again and that my 70 something grand father didn't have to work side jobs to make extra money 🙁 and that my mom didn't have to drive an undependable car. So if ever I won $1,000,000 I would share it with not only my grandmother and mother I share it with my whole family 🙂 Great question wish it would really happen lol
