The thing I really cherish is a plant my mom gave me when I moved out of the house. She had it for as long as I can remember and then gave it to me along with the pot. 12 years later it is still alive, healthy and flourishing. Everytime I look at it I think about my mom and how she passed on this living thing for me to take care of and nurture. And I want to keep it alive and pass it on to my daughter some day.
Very beautiful Jennifer and thanks for the comments. 🙂
my mom had a thimble that belonged to my great great grandmother that she used all the time. After she passed I got it so now it will be passed on down to my daughter. gale pgan427@yahoo.com

My mom also cherishes her Bible. It's tattered and looks like it is falling apart. When you open the cover, photos, notes, etc. fall from the pages!
