For today-

If you are a mother, grandmother or aunt, how would you complete the following sentence?
I am a great mother, grandmother or aunt because _______________________.

My answer:  For me, I believe in giving back to those who I know in need
and charity organizations.  I practice my
outer beauty daily with certain skin care regimens taught to me by my
mom/grandmother. I am sincere and honest.  I take care of my husband and children to the very best of my ability.  I think ahead and prepare for myself and my family.

    I Am A Great Mother Becuase I Learned From My Mother Its Ok To Be Your Child's Best Friend And Their Mother. You can be the bad guy and punish them and still maintain that best friend mode. Be hard when you need to be and when your child needs you most they wont be scared to come to you for help. I only wish my mom was here to see that it works for me too now that my daughter is almost a teen.

    I am a great aunt because I'm good at listening & letting people be themselves, no matter their age or relation to me.

    I am a great aunt because I have taught my niece how to swim, I also spent a lot of time last year and crochet nativities for every family that way my 12 nieces and nephews could have a nativity they could play with and that wasn't breakable.

    I am a great mother because I push my children to be the very best the can be in everything they do.
    With five children it is very difficult to be a wife, employee, student and a great mom but they know they can come to me anytime and I will drop whatever it is to help or listen to them.

    I am a great mother because I am always learning the best ways to show my daughter how special she is as well as showing her acceptance of others. My daughter was the result after 3 years of infertility and was born with a cleft palate. I am a pediatric SLP and make sure that my daughter meets other children that are classified as "different". I want her to know that even though they may be "different" than she is it doesn't mean that they should be treated different. She amazes me every day at how accepting of others she is. She is 5 and when she goes to the park she will walk up to anyone and talk to them. She doesn't see the differences…she just sees a child 🙂

    i am a great mother because i not only love and provide for my children but i talk to them, my daughter is 14 and she needs the talking more than anything, she has tons of questions and she needs the truth about what she wants to know about. not any sugar coating. she tells me she is lucky because she can talk to me, all her friends hate their parents because they cant talk to them. so i make sure i listen and talk back.we are very close because of this

      Yes and I have two teenagers and they so many questions as well. I keep the "icing off the cake" and the keep the reality going. Thanks for the comments and for tweeting and sharing Francis. 🙂

    I am a great mother because I learned a very important lesson from my own mother. I am my childrens mother not their best friend. Though it hurts me sometimes to have to to be the "bad guy" and punish them it is my duty as their mother to raise them right. If I'm too busy trying to be their friend and not have them be upset with me then I'm not spending the time to teach them right from wrong

    I am a great mother because I make my kids mad and as long as I am making them mad about something then I know I am raising them right or at least that is what my mom use to tell me when I was growing up. lol Gale pgan427@yahoo.com

    I am a great mother or aunt because I let me family and friends know that I will be there for them no matter what. They can always come talk to me without judgement. And i tell everyone that no matter what time of day or if it's 3 am, call me for a ride instead of driving drunk or getting in the car with a drunk driver. I will be there!
