True, kittens kittens are born both blind and deaf. However the purr is not how they find their way to the tit. They are born with a sense of smell. Each kitten has its own tit and as long as the mother has enough milk that is the only tit they will suckle on. Purring is a soothing sounds that helps keep the kittens quieter and helps them to settle down and protect them from predictors.Thanks for all your giveaways and valuable information
