Savings For ATL Moms – How to shop at Publix, Kroger and Target? Let’s move on into Day
#6
Publix Shopping
1.
Use competitors coupons!
2. Check for in-store coupons for immediate
savings.
3. Stack manufacture coupons and Publix store
or competitor store coupons for deeper discounts.
4. If you have a child that plays soccer, be sure to check for special coupons that could be mailed to you.
5. Sign up for the baby club program to receive
discounts and coupons. If you don’t have
a baby, you can donate items. You can also sign up for special magazines (Grape and Family Style).
6. Check your receipt before you leave. If an item scan wrong, you should be able to
get the item for free {check with the store manager}.

Target Shopping

Additional Target saving tip without coupons. If you see an item on
clearance at Target, keep in mind the price may go lower. Be sure to look at
the red clearance tag closely. In the bottom left is the original price
of the product. In the below diagram, the original price was $1.39 and in
the bottom right is the clearance price $0.97. In the top right corner is
the % off. Regular prices at Target mostly end with a
“9.” Food, furniture, and electronics generally don’t go down
more than 15% but stores may vary. Holiday items may have more than 90%.
If the price ends in an “8,” it will be marked down again but if it
ends in a “4,” chances are it is in the lowest price.
best deals! Check all clearance aisles. Bring your own Target or reusable bag to
carry your shopping items out. Most Targets will give you 5 cents off for
every bag you use.
