Welcome to Day 4 of the Online Coupon Class Series here at Simple
Savings For ATL Moms – Why coupon at grocery stores?Let’s move on into Day
#4
Using coupons when grocery shopping can
be rewarding. You can lower your savings at the cash register when you
use coupons. There are coupons in many different places in the grocery
store especially at Publix. Be sure to check the aisles for coupons on tear pads and
sometimes you will find them on food product. I have even found them on
sample product stands especially at Walmart. If you have never used coupons at the grocery
store, consider taking 1-5 coupons with you the next time you go. Be sure to read the coupons
first to make sure you understand how to use them. This is extremely
important. When in doubt, be sure to go to customer service and speak
with a manager if the cashier is not able to help you. Check out this previous classroom topic on how to use your Grocery store sales ad.

I use coupons almost every time I shop. I use them at Walmart and Shop Rite. I usually only use high value or free coupons, but I know if I worked harder I could save more combining regular coupons with sales items.

I usually always have coupons. Once I started using them, it felt weird to pay full price again for things -especially basics! I love to use them at Stop and Shop because it can be more pricey.
