My real father, William, came over from Germany as a kid, worked his way up, and was an Entrepreneur in business, selling commodities, and real estate. I am thankful to him today for all that he gave me. He passed away a couple of years ago, we didn't have the best relationship, he never really did want to see me, and while I am thankful for him in every way for what he did for me now, let me just say, I love you Dad, thank you!

My Dad Richard worked so many jobs! When he was a kid, he worked picking cotton. When he got back from Vietnam and was honorably discharged from the Army, he worked several jobs, including fishing, construction, tiling, flooring, and many other odd jobs. His last job was as a CNA before his disabilities from the war caught up with him and he had to stop working.

My dad is retired now. Much deserved, too. He co-owned his electrical business. He prefered to be on the job with the workers and work. He really did not like being in the office. It was always the job that he was the 'white hat' but you would never know it.

My dad Joe, was an employee for over 30 years. When he retired he became more entrepreneurial because he is really good at doing most things. He always cured his own ham but when he retired it became a seasonal business for him especially at Christmas and Easter time.
