the qualities to being a good man be a good father would have to be patients, humor, love, commitment, dedication, rules must still be a father figure cant give them everything they want without direction, lending a hand or ear when needed, not being judgemental, always being supportive and telling them they did a good job, and letting them know its okay to show your feelings, and always love your family no matter what….and being able to teach them many different things different from the women in their lives…everyone has their own special way of teaching and parenting…my dads name is John thanks for this giveaway greeneyesamytolley@aol.com

The qualities that make a good father
1. Lots of Love
2. Sets Rules
That are enforced with love. But are not allowed to be broken because good structure and discipline in childhood helps make good teens and adults. But he needs to say I love you 7 more times then when he says I am disappointed in you.
3. Teacher
My dad required me to pass his driving skills test before I got my license. He taught me to check all the fluids in a car. Change oil, and change a tire. He said this was for my safety. He was so right, when I had car troubles I could do what was needed to get me back to safety.
4. Patient
Some children are easy to raise and others are more rebellious. But with love he helped to keep my sister safe even when her choices were poor. She went to a party and he didn't want her to drive drunk so he pulled her distributor cap this way her car wouldn't work and she would have to call him. He said it was very hard not to burst into the party and embarrass her in front of all of her friends but with my sister that would not have worked. He had to let her fall and then be their to pick her up.
5. Show Emotions
Children need to know that expressing feelings is okay.
6. Love their Mother
Daughters will learn to expect boys to respect them and not abuse them. Boys will learn to respect women.
My dad taught me well and showed me so much love and compassion. His name is Dennis.

The qualities that make the best Dad are the ability to show and receive love, being comfortable with your own emotions and with dealing with others' emotions, and being able to pass on his own knowledge and wisdom but still allowing you to make mistakes.
My Dad Richard has all of these and more.
