There is a RiteAid in the Big town 11 miles from us! Also Walgreens, Safeway, etc. We have to go into town to do any shopping at those stores. But I have signed up for the rewards card and I plan on mapping out savings trips to these stores! No great deals yet, but I'll keep you posted! 🙂
Alex Pakula says
I have Rite-Aids in my town, but I don't really go to drug stores for much, so I haven't looked into their deals. I only buy products that are free of animal ingredients and not tested on animals.

Sadly there is not a rite-aid near me. I see all the posts about the great deals and really wish there was one close.
ATLanta Saving Moms says
Sorry to hear that Kathy. 🙂

One thing I was wondering… I have the CVS extra card and I do a lot of my shopping there using that. Is it better to have loyalty cards for all the different drug stores and accumulate rewards slower but at more places or keep your loyalty with one store?

ATLanta Saving Moms says
Hi Sherri, I have loyalty store cards at all of the drug stores in my area (Rite Aid, CVS and Walgreen's). I use them whenever I am in their stores to get their discounts. Sometimes some have better sales than others but you can receive a better discount if you use the loyalty card. 🙂 ~ Quida

I didn't realize that Rite Aid has a loyalty card now also. I don't think I have shopped there since they used to be Eckerds (at least around here).
Sherri L
ATLanta Saving Moms says
Yes Sherri, they started with them also. I do remember Eckerds back at my hometown of LA. If you are by there one day, stop in to see what they have. 🙂
Jennifer says
Unfortunately the closest Rite-Aid is over an hour and a half away. However, I have shopped there a couple of times. I do remember they had a lot of great deals, but i dont remember the best deal that i've ever gotten there was.
P.S.
Congrats to the winner!
