Can I contact companies/brands about products I like?
Yes! Yes! Yes! Companies love to hear about how you
enjoy their products and guess what? You
can even ask them for coupons. Have you
ever seen the blog postings placed on SSFAM about Sample Alerts? If so, did you
follow the link to request the samples?
I submit my information to these companies also and receive lots of
products and then they give coupons. It usually take about 6-8 weeks to get the samples in the mail and sometimes it comes quickly but the joy of receiving it in your mailbox is well worth the couple of minutes it takes to fill out the forms. It
is wonderful. If you have a favorite product or brand, be sure to find them on
their website and send them a nice email or mail a letter about how you enjoy their products.

Simple Ways to Contact Companies:
*Go to their “contact us” section.
*Visit the company on Facebook or Twitter. Sometimes you can find out about special product giveaways by following certain companies on Twitter.
*If you do not like a product, still let the company know. They sometimes send coupons for more products.
*Give them an old fashion phone call. Be calm in your voice tones and tell them either why you like their products or why you don’t like a certain product. Companies definitely love to try and please their customers.
*If you receive a sample or coupon from a certain company after you have contacted them, be sure to follow-up with them and “thank them.”
Sample letter/email to send to the companies of your choice:
{Dear Delmonte representative,
I love Delmonte products! My family and I use them weekly and I tell
all of my friends about how great they taste.
We are working this year on staying within a moderate grocery budget and
I was wondering if it is at all possible to request coupons to use on more of
your wonderful products.

If this is acceptable, my family and I would be
appreciative.

Note: If you are emailing, be sure to place your address so they will know where to send the coupons.
Question: Have you requested samples before or emailed a company to let them know about their product(s)? Which company did you find the best responses from? Would you like to see a series on companies to request coupons from?
Happy Couponing!!!

I have had many companies send me coupons when I praised their products for being good for specialty diets.

I think it would be cool to have a series like that! I have not written to companies before! Once, when we complained about the quality of a fish sandwich at a famous burger place, they handed us a whole book of coupons for their burgers! Funny, huh?

It never even occurred to me to contact a company for coupons. Thanks for sharing a sample letter as a guide 🙂

I have contacted a few companies, and have gotten some good coupons from all of the ones I contacted. I think a series on contacting companies would be great. I would sign up for that one.

I would love to see a series on that. I haven't contacted any companies directly, but I have followed several companies on Facebook in order to get samples and coupons. I am also a panel member for several companies… and I have gotten free coupons/gift cards for doing that
