Where can you find these great Coupon treasures?
~ Sunday Newspaper {Find your cities largest paper} Tip: Check for the coupon inserts before purchasing! I post the inserts you are to find every single Saturday here on my blog. You can go here and view and download a coupon schedule copy. Sometimes this can change. Follow the links to examples of what my posts look like on Saturdays. SS {SmartSource} 10/12 insert –> Go here! RP {RedPlum} 10/12 insert –> Go here! P&G {Procter and Gamble} 9/28 insert –> Go here! Another thing to keep in mind, there are no coupon inserts during most major holidays.
~ Stores {Look for Blinkie coupon machines. These are manufactured by SS}. Check product for Coupon peelies {I only peel the coupons off the product that I am purchasing}. You can use the peelie you pull off the product instantly for savings or purchase more product with peelies to use in other stores on sales items. Be careful, some products have Hang Tag Coupons. Use the same concept as coupon peelies mentioned above. Tear Pad Coupons. Use the same concept as coupon peelies mentioned above. You can find Tear Pad coupons in a lot of places in the stores and sometimes gas stations. Vendor Sample Displays – Think of how many times you have taken a small sample in either Kroger or Walmart and sometimes Target at a vendor stand. There are coupons there. Ask for extras especially if you like the product, they may just give them to you.
Additional stores to search for coupons are Drug stores {Check Drug stores for blinkie, peelies, hang tag and tear pad coupons}.
Walgreen’s – located in the front of the store in their booklets and store ads. These coupons are referred to as IVC {Instant Value Coupons}. Also sign up for their Balance Reward Card.
CVS – Sign up online for their email and be sure to get a store loyalty card {Extra Care}. You can scan your card at the Coupon Center for store coupons to print. Check your email for emailed coupons
Rite Aid – Coupons located in their store ads and on their website. Be sure to get their store loyalty card {Wellness +} and sign up for email. Watch videos to earn more coupons {Video Values}.
~ Magazines – Check some of your favorite magazines {Essence, Allure, All You, etc.} for coupons. You may also find samples.
~ Internet – Coupons dot com, SmartSource dot com, Red Plum dot com. Find your favorite products on Facebook and like their pages. Check their pages for coupon links and sometimes when they have a great coupon they share, because you have liked them, it will show in your news feed. We call coupons printed from the internet, Internet Printables {IP}.
Companies ~ Did you know that you can try to request coupons from companies who product you enjoy the most? Why yes the heck you can! I have a day that I set aside each month to contact some of my favorite brands (Brands that I use all the time and can’t be without). Consider contacting some of the brands that you enjoy the most and let them know how much you enjoy the product. I have a page here on my blog that list several companies you can contact and even a letter that you can use if you want to write. Go here to access it and get started. Also, sign up to get on company email. Sometimes coupons will be sent right to your inbox. Consider setting up a separate email account if you don’t want a lot of email traffic in your personal email.

Manufacture Coupon Fun Activity
Read First ~ You must learn how to read your coupons description {usually at the top – Save $1.00 off 1 item) and consumer language (usually at the bottom of your coupon) in order to know how to use them. What does your Manufacture coupon consumer language tell you on how to use it? Does it tell you that you can only use 1 coupon per item that you are purchasing? Can you only use just 1 coupon per day? Can you use 4 of the same like {exact same} coupons only per day? Identifying what the consumer language says on your coupon is important and it will help you identify if you can only get 1 or several of a certain product. SSFAM Tip: Don’t pay to much attention to the pictures but you must and
I mean must pay close attention to the wording. The picture may show you a bigger size when sometimes you may be able to get either a smaller size or trial/travel size (slow down and read).
SSFAM Coupon Fun Activity : Look at the Manufacture Coupon you chose and read the description at the top and the consumer language at the bottom of the coupon. When does it expire? Fantastic!!!!! Great job at reading your coupon and if it does not limit you on how many you can purchase, you can purchase several of those boxes using one coupon per product. Also, check with your store to see how many boxes you could get per transaction with each coupon. For example, some stores will only allow you to use 4 of the same coupon, whereas others will allow you to use 10 of the same coupon. It is a great way to stock up and share with friends and or charity especially if it is at a great price. 🙂

I need to read and not look at picture. Learn to identify if I can use more than one coupon in transactions.

Yes , sometimes i get caught up looking at the picture. I did this one time at walgreens on some tide. I had the price all figured out so I thought. When I got to the checkout I was told that I had to buy three in order to use the coupon. I felt a little doomed. So from that I always read and re read. Lol

We all have to learn from our mistakes and it is very important to laugh it off but never make the mistake again. 🙂 I am glad that you are now taking more time to read your coupons for specific wording. Great job Kia!
