My mother loves to wear the cutest lipsticks and fingernail polish. Whenever, I visit her we would go shopping for some really great colors and brands. Her favorite colors were either red or deep purples. I enjoy bright or neutral colors. Mostly neutral tones for my lips (smile).

I remember the first time my mom took me to go get my hair permed! That is a day I'll never forget. I was a pre-teen and was super excited.

My mom and me would bake cookies and cakes and I also loved to sit with her at night and watch tv, I have so many memories of my mom…

I was never very close to my mother but am very close to my mother in law. She never goes out to the movies and instead chooses to watch them on a tiny little portable DVD player. (Crazy I know)! I don't remember how many years it was now I actual got her to go to one…it was My Big Fat Greek Wedding. She just kept talking about wanting to see it and by the time I got her there it was nearly done playing in the theaters we were the only ones in there. We laughed so much and didn't have to worry about. It was so much fun!
