Who is Author Mary Lee?
Award-winning author Mary Lee’s first book My Air Force Mom was a winner in the Children’s Fiction Category of the 73rd Annual Writer’s Digest Writing Competition. Her second children’s book, When Grandma’s False Teeth Fly, won the Silver Medal Award from the Military Writers Society of America and the Readers’ Favorite Finalist Book Award. Mary is a retired Air Force Master Sergeant. She obtained a Masters Degree in Social Work at the University of South Carolina. Her interests are reading, movies, writing, and acting.

Nancy Drew was my favorite.
When I was really little we read the Dr. Seuss books, I don't remember all of them, but I remember the Cat in the Hat and Green Eggs and Ham. Later when I was 8 or 9, I started reading books like The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings and I have loved Sci-Fi and Fantasy books since then.
Yes David, the Cat in the Hat and Green Eggs and Ham are classics!
Loads of them, but I read Lord of the rings has been a regular read since I was 9.

The only book that comes to mind is Where the Sidewalk Ends. I used to love this book. Also, I loved any book by Dr. Seuss. Even now, I read Dr. Seuss books to my children on a daily basis. They love Dr. Seuss books.
Remember my favorite when I was a kid?? I don't even think they had written books back then. That was so long ago about the ONLY one that I CAN remember is "Fun with Dick and Jane" After I got into Junior High, I remember one called Jet Ace I think. That was my all time favorite.

I have always loved Shel Silverstein's The Giving Tree. And the Winnie the Pooh stories! And Clifford the Big Red Dog!

I loved all the Judy Blume Books. Tales of the 4th Grade nothing, Super Fudge. IDK who wrote Mouse on the Motorcycle but I loved that series too.

My favorite children's book when I was young was The Borrowers.
I loved all books but some of my favorite kids books were A Wrinkle in Time, Judy Bloom books, and The Babysitter's Club series.
Little House On The Prairie was one terrific book to read.
I loved to read almost anything I could get my hands on when I was a child, but I especially loved The Little House Series, and Trixie Belden mysteries!

Everything, you couldn't keep books out of my hands when I was young and as a teenager my parents would go to the used book store and buy me sack full of books each month. I still love to read.
