I'm new to couponing so I'm going to go off of my experience:
1. Follow Ms. Quita on all social media sites and also follow other fellow couponers as well because they give out great information on what product(s) you can get for cheap, free and even make money off of
2. Purchase one of Mrs. Quita's couponing binder kit. It's the best $59 investment that you make in order to save your household $$$$
3. Organize the binder. Make sure you separate everything into categories and then separate by expiration dates. I have tons of coupons that have expired because of me not being mor organized.
4. Look into some stores that take expired coupons. You never know you might get a better deal.
5. Always know their coupon policy
6. Take advantage of their clearance section. That's double the savings with coupons.
7. Take advantage of the cartwheel app and their price matching. That's triple the savings!
8. Invest in Target's reusable bags and remember to always bring them. You save .5 cents everytime

Thank you Sharve. 🙂

My advice is make sure to make a plan to where to go and know where everything is. There's a lot of couponers out there and we need to be prepared before everyone 🙂
Tom Shewbridge says
Keep a look out for price matching opportunities as well on items you might need that you don't have coupons for, instead of having to go to a different store.
Mia Jai says
Some advice I would give is to always have your coupons together and to double check everything before going to checkout and while you're at checkout, make sure everything rings up the right price.
Kim Reid says
I would say visit the Target website – take advantage of the printable coupons there, check for manufacturer's coupons to stack and always check the clearance items all around the store especially after the holidays! Thanks, Kim R.

My tip is to check the end cap for clearance goodies, most of time with coupons you have, you could get a fabulous deal.

The tip/tips that I would give someone who is a first time shopper at Target would be:
Tip 1. Follow Quida on all social media networks.
Twitter: @SavingsATLMoms
FB: SimpleSavingsForATLMoms
Website: SimpleSavingsForATLMoms.net, get on her mailing list,
Coupon Network: AtlantaCouponersNetwork.com
IG: SimpleSavingsForATLMoms….
Quida will learn you how to use coupons, give you saving tips, how to become a frugal shopper and most of all she saves you money…and not only just for Target stores.
Tip 2. Get Target recyclable bags which saves you $0.05 for each bag, because every penny counts, look in the newspaper for target coupons more than like they have coupons $5.00 off purchases of $25 or more and sometimes you even get a $5 gift card for purchases of $15 or more, if you want to because, I know how some people are with their credit, you can even apply and if approve you can save 5% on each purchase.
Tip 3. Download the free app target cartwheel to use along with your target coupons and last but not least always look for the clearance items you can never go wrong with Mr. Clearance, lol….Quida's motto is "Everybody needs to save money" so with that being said #StayintheknowwithQuida

That is super Shirley. 🙂

Use the Cartwheel App.
Chicago35 says
Beware Target will pull back a sale in a minute! By this I mean sometimes Target will advertise a sale and realized it’s a mistake they don’t waste time snatching signs down and pulling back that sale. So if you think it’s too good to be true jump on it because in a minute it’s gone!
ATLanta Saving Moms says
It is always good to watch those sale prices. 🙂
Marthalynn says
There are so many ways to save at Target! I think the Cartwheel App is seriously underutilized. So many people that I know that shop at Target have never even heard of the app. Just browsing through it while in line to check out has saved me money because I find savings for items I'm buying! make sure you check the ends of aisles. Often clearance items are put there so combined with coupons you can score great deals

My biggest advice for someone starting out couponing at Target is to invest in a "rolling gift card". The best way to get these is with money making deals but can also just be purchased one time. Even if you're putting in your own money once it will help save money later down the line with gift card offers. Anywhere from $5-$50. I try to keep $50 and that is best for bigger offers such as $25 off $100 purchases.
A rolling gift card is when you use a gift card on gift card offer. So you use a gift card to get the same amount back in a gift card.
Manufacture coupons, store coupons, mobile coupons, cartwheel, and rolling gift cards all put together for the biggest savings!!
ATLanta Saving Moms says
Great tips Devonna!
Karen Glatt says
I would get the Cartwheel app to help save money, and you can use a manufacturer coupon and target coupon on items to save even more money. Also try to get marked down items to save more and buy items that give a Target gift card with them because you can use it to save money!
Elle says
My advice is to know their coupon policy in regards to combining cartwheel deals + manufacturer coupons + target coupons and be ready to show them either via your smartphone on their website or print it out since I find that sometimes the cashiers have no idea.
Amy Orvin says
My advice for a new Target couponer is shop the sales and add coupons for additional savings.

My advice is to combine Target coupons with manufacture coupons for better savings
Emily Smith says
I would say to always check the Cartwheel app to see if you can get additional savings on anything on your list. And don't forget to have them scan your phone! I sometimes forget and don't remember until I get home.
Shameca Hatcher says
My advice to new Target coupers, is to always always print the store policy and keep the policy on hand, just in case the cashier/manager try to make up their coupon policy. Always have ur coupons organize and prep the day before ur shopping trip… Good luck, couponing is fun and you will enjoy…
Yoly M says
1. Search and follow experienced couponers who post target deals with detailed breakdowns 1 to 2 weeks in advance; such as thekrazycouponlady. 2. There's also a site that posts what's on clearance with dcpi # (product #). Then you can search the dcpi on Brickseek to see which Target has it in stock, without wasting gas! 😀
3. Make sure to write down the deals you find & plan to do, with start/end dates. Gather your manufacturer and target coupons and set your cartwheels ready! Be organized and ready before you get to register. Don't give all your coupons at once. Monitor the screen to ensure scarier registers all your coupons. Sometimes they stick together.
HAPPY COUPONING! 😀

Oops! Typo: the cashier**
Amanda Sakovitz says
Organize your coupons before you go to the register.
Angela Babio says
My advice would be to double check that the coupon and product match properly. Also when you are going to the register look for the younger cashiers. The reason I say this is because the older cashiers tend to stick to old policies and not know the new changes or want to look into them for you. It is much easier to find a younger cashier that is willing to work with the customer and know the policies or look into them for you and not give you problems when trying to redeem coupons.

My advice for a new couponer shopping at Target is to always have a backup "scenrio" plan just in case they do not have what you are looking for.
Ur Fierce Natural Diva says
My advice for a new Target couponer would be to always go to the back of the store because that's where the clearance items are located. A clearance item, mixed with a cartwheel offer, a manufacturer coupon, and a Target coupon equals an even better savings! That always makes me happy!
