    Because I can't afford to travel far, I attend free events. There's a ton in the nearest city, like music, block parties, and movie showings at the park!

    I have the save as you go with my bank so $1 goes into savings w/each debit purchase so I use that for vacation

    i get 50$ in quarters every payday and throw them in one of those crayon banks to save up for vacations.banks dont really like me when its time to cash in but the kids like to count it out every once in awhile to see how much there is!

    We put our coupon savings in a separate savings account and dump our change mug money in there monthly.

    We don't do a very good job of saving. We always try but by the time summer comes around we had to use the money on other things. We could use some tips.

    I try to save for summer by using sites like swagbucks and also couponing as much as possible. We buy meat when it's on sale and freeze it in our freezer also. With a new baby things are a little tighter than they used to be but we're making it work with a little sacrifice.

    I keep all the dollar bills and change that my husband leaves laying around or in pockets and save it in a jar for something fun to do with the family.
