Online Coupon Class: What are your goals for couponing?

When we think about setting goals about couponing, what is the first reason that comes to your mind?

Repin me!

What
are your goals for using coupons?

There can
be many reasons why we choose to use coupons but knowing the real goal can
provide you more motivation into your savings goal.
To set a savings goal, there are some questions you may consider
thinking about before you embark on your journey.
1.     Think about what it is that
you are saving for?  Is it a college
education, vacation, reducing entertainment costs, car, reducing mortgage,
debt, etc.?
2.    How long are you willing to
work towards your goal?  Create a timeline
{1 month, 3 months, 1 year}.
    3.   What is your current budget
and in what ways can you reduce overspending today? You may consider setting up
a different savings account to place your savings.
   4.   Write down your goal and
place it somewhere that you can see it daily so that you can continue to focus
and save.
Finally, take action everyday towards your savings goal but when
you accomplish your goal be sure to reward yourself.  If you do not accomplish the goal you set,
remember you can always change your goal and continue or start with something
new. I have been setting goals for a very long time and when I accomplish what
I set out to do, I do reward myself. The first time I saved over 100% on my
grocery bill, I rewarded myself with my favorite ice cream cone from Baskin
Robbins and it was sweet success!
Class Question- Tell me some of your savings goal this year with
using coupons and deals.
Happy Couponing,

My goal is to save get my student loans paid in 1/2 the time. I went back to school at a late age and would like to get them paid off quickly.
Also since I was a single parent while I was going to school, I relied on assistance from others so I also coupon so I can pay it forward and give back.
