No more Rite Aid Video Values Coupon Program

Rite Aid has officially discontinued it Video Values Coupon Program in lieu of the new Wellness + Plenti program. This new program will launch on May 3, 2015 and begin on May 4, 2015. It is designed to enhance Rite Aid’s wellness + program by partnering with Plenti to deliver even more value to the customer. Customers will be able to use one card and earn two kinds of points! All current Wellness + members will need to sign up for the Wellness+ Plenti program in order to start seeing your Savings benefits. Customers will continue to earn Wellness+ Points at Rite Aid on purchases towards savings of up to 20% OFF almost the whole Rite Aid store for a year. If you are a Gold, Silver or Bronze status, these benefits will continue. You will now be able to enjoy the benefits of Plenti Points:

*Valid for 2 years instead of just two weeks ( I love it)!
*Plenti Points can be used at other Plenti Partners (AT&T, Exxon, Mobil, Macy’s, Nationwide, Direct Energy and Hulu).  

*+UP Rewards will transition to Plenti points. Will be able to earn Plenti points whenever you make a qualifying purchase.
*Plenti Points are flexible. When you earn 200 points, you will be able to start using them at Rite Aid and the identified Plenti partners.

Keep in mind that Wellness + Points are points earned toward Bronze, Silver and Gold status discounts at Rite Aid. You can earn one Wellness + points for one dollar spent on eligible front-end purchases and up to 25 wellness + points for every eligible prescription. When you accumulate 250 wellness+ points, you earn Bronze status and qualify for 10% off Rite Aid Brand products every day for a year. With 500 wellness + points, members earn Silver status and qualify for 10% off nearly the entire Rite Aid store for a year. With 1,000 Wellness + points, members can earn Gold status and qualify for 20% off nearly the entire Rite Aid store for a year.

    I remember the first year Rite Aid had their Video Values coupons-I went their every week and rolled over the rewards and got tons of free stuff. It has not been good the last couple of years, I wonder if this new rewards is going to be any good. Rite Aid charges almost double on some items! I can get eye drops at Target for $6 and Rite Aid wants $12.50 cents.
