I’d be so excited.
‘I’ve been round the block a few times. I understand how

Another passage in the book revealed a very awkward encounter between Phil’s male flatmate
and Jackie’s mother Julie.
‘My mum came over once and when no one answered the door, she put her face to the screen to see inside
