Depending upon which part of the country you live in your kids are either just getting out of school, or already winding up summer and about to head back to school. Here in the south the starting of school is drawing near, therefore I’ve got to begin thinking about being prepared. This round-up of posts centers around the topic of preparing to go back to school this fall. Whether you’re ready for it or not, it is inevitable and it doesn’t hurt to be prepared.
Let’s make plans to have a great year with the help of the following posts:
Preparing for Back to School in Every Way, The Earlier the Better – A great list of what to do in order to get your child ready mentally and physically for back to school. One of the things we do every year is start our bedtime routine back early on to ease the pain of the transition.
Organizing School Supplies (Back to School Preparation) – This was a gem of a post about organizing your school supplies and even having a homework zone in your home, now why didn’t I think of that?
Back to School Preparation that Preserves Your Sanity – What mom couldn’t use a little sanity preservation? I know I could so this post was right up my alley. This post reminds us of the little things we might forget to do as we prepare.
Back to School Family Home Evening – This post includes a series of lessons to help your child prepare spiritually to go back to school. This isn’t something I’ve ever considered doing, but feel it is a great idea.
Back to School Preparations – This is actually a video post with a lot of great tips. It is definitely worth a watch.
Back to School Checklists – You know how the school sends out those back to school supply lists and then you have more than one kid and you can’t seem to keep up with who needs what? No more of that, not when you use this handy checklist made by a mom of course!
Prep Your Kids for a Responsible School Year – We all want our kids to be responsible, especially in school, but in order for this to happen we have to prepare them.
Tips to Get Kids Excited about Going Back to School – For some of us our kids aren’t exactly jumping up and down about going back to school, so what’s a mom to do? This post helps you get kids excited, at least a little bit.
Back to School Organization – More back to school organizing, because you can never be too organized right?
Back to School Free Printable – Who doesn’t love a fun and free printable. These are SOOO cute for back to school!
I hope you enjoyed this roundup. There are so many awesome ideas, I am sure you are able to use to prep for your kids to go back to school.

You know it's back to school time when you see adults running around the store with school lists in their hand and a cart full of paper, folders, pencils, glue etc.
