We are now
in Day #9 of the lovely month of May, 2012. 
For today-
Comment on the following trivia question:
Do you believe that the youngest mother whose history is authenticated is Lina Medina, who
delivered a 6½-pound boy by cesarean section in Lima, Peru in 1939,
at an age of 5 years and 7 months
? The child was
raised as her brother and only discovered that Lina was his mother when
he was 10.

    I can't imagine how any young mom does it. I'm 33 and this is hard. I don't know how I would have handled it even 10 years ago

    That is very hard to believe, although I do believe it. It is so sad and frightening to think about a child so young being pregnant!

    Yes I do believe it having been a nurse. I took care of an 11 year old that gave birth to twins by c-section and they were preemies. I am glad that the family raised the child as her brother. Because in the ll year old's situation she thought she could be a parent and her parents planned on letting her try to be a parent to her twins. It is so sad.
