When I was a little girl, my father would always take me on Fridays to get a great cheeseburger, fries and a strawberry milk shake at Burger King! On Sunday's My dad would take all 4 of us children 4 wheeling in the desert around our home. My best memory of these trips was after Wyoming had gotten a lot more rain than was normal and we went to Pilots Butte and there were flowers that I had never seen in my life in bloom I remember thinking that this was the prettiest the desert had ever looked during my childhood.

There are so many great experiences, but my favorite was my dad taking me bowling. My dad was the Captain of his bowling league and he started taking me to watch him bowl! There were other really nice people there, and my dad bought me popcorn, pop and candy every time. My dad taught me how to bowl. To this day, even though my Dad is now 81, we still go out to the bowling alley! It was a great bonding time with my dad! We had a lot of laughs!

My Dad would let me pick a treat from his candy drawer! I remember thinking this was the greatest thing. I would linger over all of the delicious options before making my selection. I sure do miss him. marthalynn16 at gmail
