Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! + Surprise Thanksgiving Thursday Giveaway!

 I want to personally say, “Happy Thanksgiving” to all my wonderful fans, friends, bloggers and supporters of Simple Savings For ATL Moms! I hope that you have a wonderful time with your family and friends.  I am soooo looking forward to the turkey and dressing today. Which Thanksgiving dish are you looking forward to the most? Are you shopping any Black Friday Sales today?  I see that Kmart, Target, Sears, Toys R Us and  Walmart will be opening today near 8 p.m. If you do, be safe in your shopping and don’t forget to download the Black Friday Worksheet here if you need it.

    I am thankful for having access to a supermarket. As funny as it sounds, when we moved to another state for my husband's construction job, I had to drive for an hour to buy a loaf of bread, so now, when I can hop in my car and zip to Walmart in less than 15 minutes, I clap my hands in joy!

    I am thankful for my family! They are brave, strong, full of mercy and kindness, and I'm especially thankful for my children! They have made me very proud in spite of 3 deaths in our family they have healed and lived on to make beautiful, happy lives! I am so blessed! I am also thankful for you, Q! You've made our lives happier and better! We are thankful for you! Happy Holidays!

    I am very thankful to have a healthy grandson. He was sick a few days ago and was airlifted to the Children's Hospital in San Diego. The doctors said that usually it takes a week at least to recover from what my grandson had. And my grandson recovered the next day and was released. I am so thankful to God and all of my family for there prayers that went out to help my grandson.

    I am so thankful for so many things, but most importantly, I am thankful for my continued good health. I had been diagnosed with 2 separate cancers less than 11 months apart. I beat those 2 cancers and I've been cancer-free now for 7 years! I am also so thankful for the safety of my family and friends – we all live in the Staten Island and New Jersey area and endured Hurricane Sandy. But thankfully, we are all safe and sound and I am extremely grateful!

    I'm thankful for having my family's good health , that my mom and dad are together till this day. They work hard and I appreciate how they help me with my three girls… I'm happy how they give me good advices even though I'm still 24 yrs old lol and I'm also thankful I have a wonderful husband and three beautiful girls .. But most of all I want to thank myself for learning from my rights and wrongs. I'm also content I'm confident in myself and I know nothing can stop me from doing what I want!!!

    I am thankful to have my family healthy this Thanksgiving. My youngest daughter *8* has had a very rough year. First we were told she had probably lymphoma then to finding out she has a pituitary tumor and then a fungal infection in her lungs. Once we got the news she did not have cancer..all the rest we could deal with. She is doing great and is now on 6 month check ups for the tumor and the infection is gone! I am so thankful and i pray for all those that are dealing with illnesses. Happy Thanksgiving!!!

    I am thankful for my husband and 3 beautiful children. I am thankful that my friends and family were safe during Hurricane Sandy and hope that some of my friends who lost everything will rebuild and come back stronger than before. I am thankful that I have a roof over my head, food in my stomach and warm in my bed at night. I may not be at the top but I am so much more fortunate than others. May the holiday bring back the spirit of family and friends coming together in times of happiness but remembering to help those in need this time of year.     I am thankful to have a wonderful husband who loves me and my daughter unconditionally and to have a beautiful, intelligent, and healthy daughter. I am thankful that even thought at times we don't have extra money and we struggle to make it, we have a roof over our heads and food on our table. Most of all I am thankful that despite the normal colds and viruses we are blessed with being healthy and not struggling with any illnesses.

    I am thankful for having a husband who finally retired from the Army and came home to me alive each time after so many wars and sitting by for 30 years wondering if each and every time he left if he would come home to me. He finally did and is home to stay. Nothing can compare to that.
