Welcome to the Back to School Blast!
Getting your family prepared to head back to school, can be difficult especially after a long, fun-filled summer. Here are a few of our favorite Back to School Tips to help you along the way.
1. Back-to-School Supplies Checklist – Backpack? Check. Pencils? Check. Safety scissors? Not Yet. Use the same checklist each time you head out to grab supplies, to keep track of what you have already purchased and the things you still need to. These are also handy if you have more than one child. Simply print 2, 3, 4 list and add their name to the top.
2.Set back the bedtime hours– At least 2 weeks before your child starts school, set back the bedtime hours by 15 to 30 minutes until school starts. This will help them slowly get back into their routines.
3. Get organized before the week of school. Have your child pick out the school clothes for the week.
4. Create a lunch menu– If your children usually buy their lunch at school, consider creating a lunch menu for 2-3 days during the week. This will give them the chance of creating a healthy meal.

Shop sales and use coupons.
Inventory the supplies you have a home, gather supply lists from school, and then shop the sales. Happy saving!
My best tip is to start shopping early. I buy the bulk of my supplies after all the back to school sales when they go on clearance. then I stockpile them for the following year.
Make separate lists for each child! and stick with that.
