If I had an extra $1000, I'd buy my grandfather-in-law a recliner that lifts him out of it and I'd give my sister some money towards Christmas presents for my niece and nephew.
If I had $1000, I would put half towards my bills, than give the other half towards my parents bills as they're trying to pay off my mothers cancer bills still.
If I had $1000 to help someone with I would give part of it to a friend who foster's animals and has a momma dog that needs a heartworm treatment. I would also give some of it to my sister who has three kids and always could use $ for groceries.
If I had 1000 to help someone I'd give it to my daughter's god-mother. She and her fiance have been going to Thailand on mission trips and they're raising funds for the children there!

i use a envelope, or a couple, one for each store, i usually label them with whats inside. a binder is just to much for me to handle in the store
