Online Coupon Class #12 ~ Coupon Abbreviations + Giveaway!

Topic for the day:  What
are coupon abbreviations and what the heck do they mean?

Coupon
Abbreviations are special terms used with couponing and they mean different
things.  You may hear some of the season couponers on blogs use these
terms.  Here are some examples:
  AY
means All You Magazine {Found in Walmart only}
  ECB means Extra Care Buck {Store Cash that prints on receipt
at CVS}
 B&M  Brick and Mortar
(Physical stores locations)
BLINKIES   In Store Smart Source Coupons
BOGO/B1G1  Buy One Get One Free (Buy one item and get one
free)
CATALINA  Coupon printed for certain amount off of next
order.  Machine located near the register.
CNP  Coupon near product, sometimes they have displays near
products that have coupons
Coup Coupon
CRT Customer Receipt Tape (receipt coupons)
DND  DO NOT DOUBLE (Usually referring to a coupon.  The
store will not double the coupon).
DOUBLE COUPON  Doubles the amount of the coupon up to a
certain amount, depends on the store.
ES  Easy Saver (Walgreens)
FAR  Free After Rebate
IP or printable  Internet printable coupon
Kg  Kroger electronic coupons at Kroger.com
MFC Manufacture coupon
MIR Mail in Rebate (You bought something and you can mail in for a
rebate)
NLA  No Longer Available (Usually refers to printable
coupons)
ONYP or OYNO On your next purchase or on your next order
OOP Out of Pocket (Cash paid)
Peelie  Coupon you peel off package
PSA  prices starting at
Q  coupon
RR  Register Rewards (Walgreens)- It is a manufacture
coupon.  It expires in possibly 2 weeks.
STACKING  Using more than one coupon for an item i.e. store
coupon and MFC
TEAR PAD  A pad of coupons or MIR near a product or on
display
WYB When You Buy (Save $1 WYB 3 means you will save $1 when you
buy 3 items)
YMMV  Your Mileage May Vary (Depends on your store and
polices). Or it could mean your market may vary depending on your store.
Sunday Paper Lingo
*P&G Proctor & Gamble (Insert)
*SS  Smartsource insert
*RP  Redplum insert โ€“ usually a standard part of the weekly
paper depending on your region.
*GM General Mills (insert)

    I am familiar with the Sunday paper lingo the most. I didn't know that FAR meant Free After Rebate.
